Eubank Jr. was taken to The Royal London Hospital after the match, which occurred at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before a cheering audience of 67,000, as a precaution.

Though initial medical assessments have yielded reassuring outcomes, the 35-year-old boxer is expected to be under observation until Monday to guarantee his full recovery.

His promoter, Ben Shalom, informed fans on X, saying, “On the onsite doctor’s recommendation, Chris Eubank Jr. has been taken to the hospital by ambulance for precautionary checks.”

Throughout the bout, Eubank Jr. sustained a serious gash above his right eye and exhibited signs of weariness, prompting Benn to voice worries about a potential fractured jaw.

In an interview with Boxxer, however, Eubank Jr’s promoter stated, “There is no truth to the rumours regarding a broken jaw.

I’m pleased to confirm that Chris is doing well and currently resting.”

Family support has been strong during this time, with Chris Eubank Sr. and other relatives keeping vigil at his son’s bedside.
