BUA Group Gives Workers N30 Billion in Cash Awards

At its 2025 Night of Excellence and Long Service Awards, BUA Group gave N30 billion in cash incentives to 510 employees, making it one of the biggest employee reward programs by a private sector company in Nigeria. Employees with five to more than forty years of service were honored at the ceremony for their long service, devotion, and exceptional contributions. The initiative highlights a fundamental principle that has governed the Group since its founding: people create sustainable businesses.Abdul Samad Rabiu CFR CON, the founder and executive chairman of BUA Group, spoke at the ceremony and called it a celebration of devotion, tenacity, and shared ownership of the BUA narrative. He remembered that since its modest beginnings 36 years ago, BUA has developed into one of the most valuable listed firms in Nigeria, with a combined market capitalization currently in the trillions of naira. But he emphasized that no single person, board, or capital was responsible for this expansion.
