The chairman of Dangote Petroleum Refinery, Aliko Dangote, has revealed that starting on Tuesday in Lagos, MRS and other gas stations that buy Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from his refinery will start distributing petrol for N739 per litre. During a news conference on Sunday, Dangote made this statement, bringing up the previous drop in the ex-depot price from N828 to N699 per litre.The most recent cut, which has received widespread recognition, amounts to a N125 percent drop all at once. As Dangote continues to modify the dynamics of domestic supply, the refinery has adjusted the price of gasoline 20 times this year. The new pricing went into effect on December 11, 2025.
