Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide, has made fun of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the former Labour Party, and Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, for their parties’ defeats in Saturday’s state bye-elections.
According to Omokri, neither Obi nor El-Rufai have bounced back from the setback to wish Ibrahim Babangida, the former military head of state, a happy 80th birthday.
He cautioned Nigerians to anticipate rigging claims from the pair in a post on X.
He wrote: “General Babangida turns 84 today, and neither Obi nor El-Rufai are well enough to wish him a happy birthday.
These individuals have previously celebrated IBB’s birthday. They lost their voices today. Tom and Jerry were deeply affected by this loss.
“Today, Peter Obi has yet to tweet. Nasir el-Rufai remains unaccounted for. Tom and Jerry were deeply affected by this loss.
