Cubana Chief Priest to Tinubu: If Kanu remains imprisoned, forget about South-East votes in 2027.

Socialite Cubana Chief Priest issued a strong warning to President Bola Tinubu immediately after Nnamdi Kanu was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Federal High Court in Abuja.
He cautioned that the 2027 election will be a major challenge for the President in the South-East unless Kanu is released.
The businessman stated on Instagram that the political atmosphere in the region is tense, anger and resentment are increasing, and support for the President is already diminishing. He claimed, “As long as MNK remains in jail you cannot & will never get up to 10,000 votes in South-East come 2027… Only MNK release can save you.”
Cubana Chief Priest also criticized South-East ministers for failing to accurately convey the people’s sentiment to the President, claiming they lack the political influence to regain public trust.
Furthermore, he urged Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma to intervene and advocate for Kanu’s release, warning that the Governor’s achievements risk being overshadowed if the matter is not addressed, stating that the South-East “Belongs To MNK.”
