Deputy Senate President tells Trump to apologize to Nigeria right now.

Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin has demanded an apology from US President Donald Trump for his comments, which included labeling Nigeria “a disgraced country,” calling the remark offensive and undiplomatic. Jibrin strongly condemned Trump’s previous threat to invade Nigeria with the US military if the alleged killing of Christians continued, stating that the threat violates diplomatic norms and international law. Jibrin insisted that Trump should retract the unacceptable statement and apologize to Nigeria, arguing that his remarks are inconsistent with American values and that no foreign leader has the right to issue military threats without due process. Trump had earlier designated Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern” over the alleged killings of Christians.
