In Borno State’s 27 local government areas, 300,000 impoverished Muslim and Christian households have received Ramadan palliatives from Governor Babagana Umara Zulum.Zulum, who kicked off the distribution in Maiduguri, stated that the intervention’s goal was to lessen the financial strain that vulnerable locals were experiencing.He emphasized that Christian households would also profit from the activity, pointing out that this year’s Christian Lenten season falls with Ramadan.
