Emami instructs security services to pursue Onuwaje’s murderers.

Ayirimi Emami, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress in Delta State, has called on security agencies to track down those responsible for the mob killing of community leader Emiko Onuwaje in Warri South-West. Following a visit to the victim’s family, Emami condemned the act as a senseless and unacceptable tragedy carried out by individuals over minor disputes. He urged the residents of Ugborodo to maintain peace and refrain from retaliatory violence, emphasizing that justice should be pursued through the proper legal channels rather than through a breakdown of law and order. Emami also stressed the importance of community unity in removing criminal elements to ensure that ongoing development projects in the area are not hindered. He appealed to the public to cooperate with law enforcement as they investigate the murder, noting that maintaining stability is crucial for the region’s progress and the bereaved family’s quest for justice.
