Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has praised Arsenal as the greatest side in Europe and England.
Guardiola was on BBC Radio 5 Live following his team’s 3-0 victory over Chelsea on Sunday.
Thanks to goals from Nico O’Reilly, Marc Guehi, and Jeremy Doku, City achieved a significant victory in the Premier League title chase.
With a game remaining, City is now six points behind the leaders ahead of Arsenal’s visit this Sunday.
However, Guardiola has cautioned that the game won’t be simple.
“We have to talk about what we have to do against a team that defends well, wins duels, attacks with the long balls, and does a thousand million things that they do brilliantly this season,” he stated.
They are therefore the greatest team in both England and Europe, as evidenced by the numbers. We have a great deal of respect.
