After Chelsea’s 3-0 Premier League loss to Brighton on Tuesday, manager Liam Rosenior has denied any conflict with his team.
On Tuesday night, Rosenior saw Brighton thrash Chelsea at the Amex Stadium.
Rosenior’s team finished eighth in the Premier League standings as goals from Danny Welbeck, Jack Hinshelwood, and Ferdi Kadioglu helped the hosts defeat the Blues.
Rosenior responded, “Judging from the performance on the field, it may be the case, but I don’t think there is really a disconnection between the players and me,” when asked if there was a rift between him and his players following his team’s dismal performance against Brighton.
“I am unable to dispute this external perception, which is the result of the players’ lack of belief and fighting spirit.”
This weekend, Chelsea will play Leeds United in the FA Cup semi-final.
