There were rumors that Alonso may rejoin his old team, Liverpool, but it appears the Reds don’t need a new manager because Arne Slot has been retained by the team’s owners, Fenway Sports Group (FSG).
According to The Touchline, Alonso believes that with manager Luis Enrique’s help, he can bring Chelsea up to the same level as Paris Saint-Germain.
