On the eve of Chelsea’s Champions League match against Barcelona on Tuesday, Enzo Maresca has downplayed parallels between rival young wingers Estevao and Lamine Yamal. Estevao, 18, has drawn attention since moving to Stamford Bridge in July with nine goals for both club and country.At his pre-match press conference on Monday, Chelsea manager Maresca was asked if Yamal, a Spain international who is only three months younger than Estevao, would be a good role model for his youngster. Maresca told reporters, “Estevao is already playing at a high level, he is already in the starting eleven with Brazil.” He is undoubtedly extremely young and capable of much more, but we are quite pleased with him.
