The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has reported a 50% rise in revenue from non-aeronautical activities, according to Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, Managing Director. During the board retreat for FAAN management and stakeholders in Abuja on Wednesday, she made this statement. She also mentioned that some airports in the nation are undergoing renovations to enhance passenger experiences and service delivery during the Yuletide.According to Daily Trust, non-aeronautical revenues come from sources other than aircraft operations. These include earnings from duty-free stores, lounges, rentals, and tollgates, among other sources. “We have actually increased our revenue significantly under the leadership of this present administration, where we took over December 2023, and not just due to the FX fluctuation,” the MD stated.
