According to Uche Geoffrey Nnaji, Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, more than 3,000 Nigerians applied for the NextGen Innovation Challenge 2025.
He made this revelation at the NextGen Innovation Challenge 2025 exhibition in Abuja. He said that more than 3,000 innovative entries were received this year from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, and that 74 finalists had been selected from this amazing pool of talent.
According to him, they are all evidence of the Nigerian spirit’s inventiveness, bravery, and genius.
He said the project was an embodiment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and praised the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) for developing a national platform that speaks directly to the aspirations of Nigerian youth and the nation’s future.
