As Okada riders allegedly plot attacks on task force officials, FCT Police issue a warning.

Regarding an alleged plot by Okada riders to target task force officers working within the Kubwa axis, the Federal Capital Territory, or FCT, Police Command has issued a strong warning.

According to the DAILY POST, a voice message that is making the rounds on social media indicates that a group of commercial motorcycle riders have decided to target FCT Task Force officers.

Over 200 motorcycles were allegedly seized during a recent crackdown on the motorcyclists by task force personnel.

In response, the police command said that such behavior is “criminal and will be met with the full weight of the law” in a statement released Thursday night by its spokesperson, Josephine Adeh.

The “command will not hesitate to deploy all lawful means, including arrests, prosecution, and necessary force, to deal decisively with perpetrators of public disorder,” Josephine said.

The statement further cautioned that the command has the ability and the determination to defend public servants, save lives and property, and maintain law and order in the Federal Capital Territory.
