At the 2024 Annual General Meeting in Lagos, Dangote Cement PLC approved a dividend payout of N502.6 billion, amounting to N30 kobo per share for its shareholders.
Along similar lines, the corporation’s social investments were raised by 469.8% to N13.2 billion.
The corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities were in education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, and economic empowerment.
According to Daily Trust, the approved dividend amounts to 99.87% of its profit after tax of N503.25 billion.
