โ€œHow Can You Manage Nigeria If You Canโ€™t Manage Fidelity?โ€ Bwala asks Peter Obi.

“How Can You Manage Nigeria If You Can’t Manage Fidelity?” Bwala asks Peter Obi.

Daniel Bwala, President Bola Tinubu’s Special Advisor on Policy Communication, has blasted Peter Obi over the reported bankruptcy of Fidelity Bank.
According to Naija News, Fidelity Bank denied in a statement that it would be going bankrupt after the Supreme Court ruled against it.

The bank added in the statement that its legal staff has been studying the decision. However, it advised its investors and clients to ignore the financial status reports.

However, according to a report published on Tuesday by Sahara Reporters, Obi, the previous presidential candidate of the Labour Party, traveled to the Vatican on Sunday to meet with President Tinubu in an alleged attempt to secure a soft landing for the bank rather than to attend Pope Leo XIV’s introductory service.

The report also claimed that Obi possesses a sizable stake in the bank. It also stated that after failing to secure support from other prominent South West politicians to contact the President, former Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi escorted Obi to the Vatican to meet Tinubu.

Remember how the former governor of Anambra State cautioned against making his trip to Rome and his friendly conversation with President Tinubu political?

In response to an article by Sahara Reporters on his ๐• handle, Bwala stated that if Obi is unable to run Fidelity Bank, he will also be unable to run Nigeria if elected president.

“Whoa, whoa. He wrote, “How can he manage Nigeria if he can’t manage Fidelity Bank?”
