The Civil Defense, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) will hire additional staff in 2025, according to a statement released by the Federal Government through the Ministry of Interior.
A statement issued on Tuesday included this information.
The announcement claims that the Federal Fire Service (FFS), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) are all covered by the recruiting.
The official application gateway, https://recruitment.cdcfib.org, will launch on Thursday, June 26, 2025, and stay open for three weeks, the release continued.
Qualifications
Candidates must be citizens of Nigeria and be between the ages of 18 and 35. They must also fulfill fundamental physical and medical requirements. Male candidates must have a minimum chest measurement of 0.87 meters and be at least 1.65 meters tall. Female candidates must be at least 1.60 meters tall.
All applicants must also exhibit good conduct and have a spotless criminal background.
Qualifications for Education
Candidates must have at least a senior high school diploma with four or five credits, including math and English. Nonetheless, applicants with more advanced degrees—such as NCE, OND, HND, or bachelor’s degrees in technical trades, law, or medicine—are also encouraged to apply.
Just one application
Each candidate may only apply to one agency, the board said. If you submit more than one application, you will be automatically disqualified.
Detailed Application Instructions
Step 1: Go to the Portal
Visit the website at https://recruitment.cdcfib.org.
Step 2: Create an Account
Click “Start Application” and register with a valid email address, phone number, and password.
Step 3: Select Agency and Cadre
Choose only one agency from:
NSCDC
NIS
NCoS
FFS
Then pick a role under:
Category A: Superintendent Cadre
Category B: Inspectorate Cadre
Category C: Assistant Cadre
Step 4: Enter Your Personal Information
Provide your biographical information, educational history, and any pertinent documentation (such as a national ID, birth certificate, passport photo, or certificates).
Step 5: Examine and Send in
After checking for mistakes, submit your application.
Save the Acknowledgment Slip in Step Six.
After submitting, you can download or print your acknowledgement slip.
Important Reminder: There is no cost for applications. Don’t give anyone money.
An additional benefit is computer literacy.
Individuals who have a history of financial malfeasance or criminal convictions are not eligible.
In order to prevent disqualification, the CDCFIB advised all interested Nigerians to apply as soon as possible and make sure they fulfill all conditions.
