ICSAN: Diversifying the economy will lessen dependence on oil exports

Mrs. Funmi Ekundayo, President and Chairman of the Council of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), has praised the government’s recent reforms, calling them essential for enhancing the economy in all sectors.

She recognized the major economic challenges that Nigeria is presently confronted with, but she expressed hope regarding the reforms as they start to take hold.

Ekundayo made these comments during the fourth ICSAN presidential press parley, which also acted as her valedictory meeting and marked the conclusion of her term as the institute’s first female president.
She recognized the macroeconomic challenges that Nigerians have encountered, including inflation, unemployment, and a lack of infrastructure.
