According to an examination of Federal Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) papers, the federal government produced N8.09 trillion between January and November 2025.According to a breakdown, the government received N403.68 billion from the Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) and N7.69 trillion from Value Added Tax. According to VAT analysis, the government collected N771.86 billion in January, but that amount dropped to N654.456 billion in February and N637.61 billion in March.It rose somewhat to N642.26 billion in April and N742.82 billion in May before declining once more to N678.16 billion in June. In July, there was a significant increase to N687.9 billion; in August, there was another increase to N722.61 billion; in September, there was a continued growth to N872.63 billion; however, in October and November, there was a further decline to N719.82 billion and N563.04 billion.EMTL collected N21.40 billion in January, N36.63 billion in February, and N26.01 billion in March. N40.48 billion was collected in April, compared to N28.82 billion in May.
