Second-place Manchester City defeated Brentford 3-0 in the Premier League over the weekend thanks to a rare goal from Omar Marmoush.
The 27-year-old Egyptian striker scored his second league goal of the year after chasing a feed from Erling Haaland and shooting past Caoimhin Kelleher.
With one game remaining, City is five points behind Arsenal. The Gunners defeated West Ham United 1-0, and they can win the championship by defeating Burnley at home and Crystal Palace away.

As Palace achieved survival in a 2-2 draw with Everton, Sarr scored 20 goals for the first time in a remarkable season. After his first attempt was stopped, the Senegalese international blasted home on the second try.

At Selhurst Park, Beto was also on target, finishing past Dean Henderson with an outstanding individual run. The Toffees took the lead thanks to the Guinea-Bissau international’s tenth goal of the year, but a draw hurt their chances of qualifying for Europe.

In a pivotal 1-0 victory over Werder Bremen, Ivory Coast striker Toure scored the lone goal to keep Hoffenheim in the running for Champions League qualifying. Toure scored his third goal in five games with a deft finish in 25 minutes, keeping Hoffenheim tied with fourth-place Stuttgart on the season’s last day.

Leverkusen’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League were crushed when Burkinabe defender Tapsoba gave up a crucial penalty in a 3-1 loss to Stuttgart. Shortly before halftime, Tapsoba tripped Ermedin Demirovic in the box, enabling Maximilian Mittelstadt to put Stuttgart ahead 2-1 after Leverkusen had grabbed an early lead.
Borussia Dortmund’s SERHOU GUIRASSY
Dortmund overcame a goal deficit to defeat Eintracht Frankfurt 3-1 and secure second place thanks to a goal from Guirassy. The Guinea international scored his 16th goal of the Bundesliga season after getting just enough onto an assist from Julian Ryerson to flip it into the corner of the goal.
