Moses Aduku, the head coach of the Falconets, has stated that his team wants to defeat Malawi.
The Nigerian girls are playing the Young Scorchers in the second leg of their 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifying match at Lilongwe.
Aduku’s team is ahead 2-0 after the first leg.
On Saturday, the rematch will take place at the Bingu National Stadium.
According to the coach, his team is ready to handle the pressure from the home team.
“We want to play and win. At a press conference on Friday, Aduku stated, “The players recognize the significance of this game, and we are fully prepared mentally, tactically, and physically for the challenge ahead.”
The meeting is set for 3 p.m. Malawi time (2 p.m. Nigeria time).
