Iwobi talks candidly about his Super Eagles teammate Osimhen, who will fight and cheat to win.

Alex Iwobi, a Fulham playmaker, has discussed his Super Eagles teammate Victor Osimhen’s “sick” mindset.

Iwobi asserted on the Best Mode On podcast that Osimhen will fight and cheat to win.

Osimhen has scored 35 goals in 52 caps for Nigeria and is one of the best strikers in the world.

“He’s always getting hurt in training because he has to put his leg or his head into something that he shouldn’t do,” Iwobi stated. He is constantly engaged in combat.

“I’m not surprised he’s where he is right now. Some would say he’s not polished; he’s a bit raw, but Victor will create himself five chances in a game just by working hard and running.”

“Who you are doesn’t matter to him. He will fight regardless of whether you are [Virgil] van Dijk or a man from the non-league. He will approach the Champions League match as though he were playing with his brothers.

β€œHe always wants to win, and that mentality is sick. It’s ill. Because he wants to battle and make sure he wins throughout training, it can occasionally be excessive.

Then, on occasion, he cheats, and he is aware that he is doing it in order to succeed. However, it’s merely a diseased mindset.
