Eddie Hearn, the promoter, revealed his third run at the top of the heavyweight division.
On July 25, Joshua will take on Kristian Prenga in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Later in the year, a much-anticipated fight with Tyson Fury is planned. Hearn maintains that Joshua needs to win both fights in order to return to the top of the division.
Hearn stated to BoxingScene that “winning the world heavyweight championship again is his endgame.”
However, there are undoubtedly a few things he wishes to accomplish. He hopes to defeat Tyson Fury and reclaim the world heavyweight title. Thus, our current strategy is based on what we can see in front of us—Prenga and Tyson Fury.
