The Lagos State government has declared that it will use the N244.82 billion in proceeds from its most recent bond issuance to fund the development of vital infrastructure. The monies will be invested in important sectors such as transportation, housing, environmental sustainability, healthcare, and education, aiming to create sustainable and equitable growth in the state.This was said during yesterday’s bond signing ceremony for the Lagos State Government Ministry of Finance/DMO. Investors, financial institutions, and government representatives gathered. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, thanked investors for their trust and promised to make sure public resources are managed responsibly.
