The Nigerian Senate has given the executive a two-week deadline to submit a comprehensive, documented report on the implementation of the 2024 budget, along with projections for the 2025 budget, before considering the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF).
The ultimatum was issued by Senate Committee on Finance Chairman, Sani Musa, during a meeting with President Bola Tinubu’s economic team.
BASEMEDIA reports that the delegation, led by Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, attended the meeting at the National Assembly.
