Dada Olusegun, President Bola Tinubu’s special assistant on social media, has attacked comedian and content producer Nasboi over a video he posted online, accusing him of inciting terror with what he called deceptive material.
Olusegun said in a post on his X profile on Tuesday that the video Nasboi shared came from a page that claimed the people in it were terrorists from the Republic of Benin rather than Nigeria.
The presidential assistant claimed that the video had nothing to do with Nigeria and shouldn’t have been shown in a way that could have alarmed the population.
“You cannot continue to purposefully use your page to spread fear @iamnasboi for whatever reason you might think you have,” Olusegun wrote.

Nasboi
The presidential adviser did not elaborate on the video or the date of its initial posting.The video, which Nasboi shared earlier on Tuesday with the caption, “PRESIDENT @officialABAT,” depicts armed personnel on motorbikes carrying out a raid in a dusty rural area.
Although comparable recordings of their activities have previously been broadcast by terrorist organizations operating in North-East Nigeria and throughout the Sahel, PUNCH Online was unable to independently confirm whether this specific tape came from Nigeria.
According to recent reports, an attack on Beninese army barracks in the Koalou-Kourou area near the Burkina Faso border on or around May 25 was claimed by Jama’at Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin (JNIM), a group connected with al-Qaeda. The terrorists claimed to have killed multiple soldiers and taken weapons and equipment in the video they published of the attack.
