Nigerian Christians begin praying for Rev. Dachomo as group predicts assassination.

Nigerian Christians, particularly those in Plateau State, are praying for the safety of Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo after the “Anonymous Group” shared a prediction that he has been targeted for assassination. The Anonymous Group, known for “hacktivism,” posted on Facebook that Islamic extremists and bandits have circulated photos of Rev. Dachomo and ordered his assassination within seven days. This alleged threat is due to his regular videos exposing the killing of Christians in Plateau, with the militants supposedly believing he is responsible for US President Donald Trump’s threat to deploy US soldiers against terrorists in the country. The group’s post, which went viral, urged people to circulate the warning to prevent a “blood bath.” Social media users reacted to the threat with widespread prayers and messages of support for Rev. Dachomo, describing him as a fearless man of God who has stood up for Christians. Their comments expressed strong beliefs that God would protect him, that any attempt on his life would worsen Nigeria’s situation before the US, and that he would be more powerful even if killed.
