From December 10 to 20, 2025, Team Nigeria Tennis will participate in the 2025 African Youth Games in Luanda, Angola. The group, which consists of four young players and their coach, has finished its last training session in Abuja and will travel to the continental competition with other Nigerian competitors.Goodnews Aina and Khadijat Mohammed in the girls’ division and Oluwaseun Ogunsakin and Ikenna Prosper Okonkwo in the boys’ division—led by Coach Akinwumi Ogunsakin—represent the nation. In order to compete against some of the best up-and-coming tennis players in Africa, the team has undertaken extensive preparation. Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei, President of the Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF), wished the youthful team well and expressed complete faith in their capacity to succeed.
