As the Chief Scout for Sunshine Stars of the Nigeria National League (NNL), Shina Adeoye has submitted his resignation.
In a letter delivered to the club’s administration on Thursday, Adeoye declared his resignation.
Adeoye explained his separation from the club by citing urgent personal and professional obligations.
“I write to formally notify the management of my decision to step aside from my position as Chief Scout of Sunshine Stars Football Club, Akure,” the letter said in part.
“This decision has become necessary in order to attend to some pressing personal and professional commitments related to my football career, which may not allow me to effectively perform my duties in this role.”
Sunshine Stars were unable to advance to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
