Napoleon Aluma, the head coach of Warri Wolves, has praised his team for earning a spot in the Nigeria Premier Football League, or NPFL.Warri Wolves defeated Crown FC 2-1 to take first place in Group B of the Nigeria National League (NNL) playoffs.For the first time in four years, the Seasiders will now play in the NPFL again.Goalie Joke Efevwerha was also commended by Aluma for keeping his cool in the face of a mistake throughout the game.
“I was really confident in my group. After the game, Aluma stated, “We stayed focused and got the win despite the error from my goalkeeper, who has been among the best throughout the regular season.”
Wikki Tourists and Warri Wolves will now play each other to decide the 2024–25 NNL season’s overall victor.
