The future of Shooting Stars technical adviser Gbenga Ogunbote with the club remains uncertain as he has not commented on it.
The experienced tactician has a year remaining on his contract with the Oluyole Warriors.
Ogunbote voiced his discontent regarding his team’s performance in the recently finished Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Ogunbote told Shooting Stars media, “Everyone knows I have a two-year contract with Shooting Stars and I’ve only completed one year of it. Unfortunately, the recently concluded season was not a positive one for me.”
“It is necessary to reassess the season and establish a stance on our mistakes: where they occurred and how they happened.
“When everything is said and done, let us see what transpires.”
With 54 points accrued over the course of 38 matches, the club based in Ibadan finished eighth in the NPFL.
