Peter Obi offers Datti Baba-Ahmed his condolences for his brother’s passing.

Peter Obi, a prominent member of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed sympathy to Datti Baba-Ahmed, his former running mate, on the passing of his brother.

In a statement sent on his verified X Twitter on Friday, Obi offered his sympathy.

“I deeply mourn with my dear younger brother Datti Baba-Ahmed over the passing of his beloved younger brother,” he declared.

In this time of sorrow, my thoughts and sincere prayers are with him and the whole Baba-Ahmed family.

“May Allah pardon his transgressions, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and grant the family the fortitude and endurance to endure this agonizing loss—inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.

“May Allah grant peace to those who are grieving. He wrote, “Yes, Allah is the best planner.”
