Dele Momodu, a prominent member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has denied being Atiku Abubakar’s running partner on a presidential campaign poster.
The presidential campaign poster, according to Momodu, was a prank intended to divert the ADC.
Atiku was depicted as president and Momodu as running mate on the AtiDele 2027 poster.
In response, Momodu reassured his supporters that he would not be seeking the president.
The former presidential contender stated in a post on X that he would back ADC leaders due to their competence.
“Bob Dee, is this real?” he wrote. I thought this banner was a hoax meant to divert us when I initially got it from a buddy.
However, I’m currently receiving an overwhelming amount of these unwanted messages.
Therefore, I would be really appreciative if my friends and partygoers would please disregard this prank.
“I’m not participating in any races going forward. In order to cooperate and remove the inept APC government that has brutally plunged our democracy into what appears to be anarchy, I would want to respectfully support the coalition of political parties.There are plenty of more capable leaders in my party, ADC, than I am. When our candidates are announced, I will respectfully back any of them.
