Prior to WAFCON 2026 Friendlies: Madugu selects the team for the doubleheader against Senegal

Justine Madugu, the head coach of the Super Falcons, has selected 23 players for the team’s forthcoming friendly games against Senegal.

Among the regulars listed in the team are captain Rasheedat Ajibade, seasoned striker Asisat Oshoala, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Halimat Ayinde, and Oluwatosin Demehin.

Francisca Ordega, an attacker, and renowned midfielder Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene were called up by Madugu for the friendly.

Kafayat Shittu, a midfielder from Turkey, has received his first invitation.

In both friendlies, the Super Falcons will host Senegal at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

The second game is set for Monday, June 8, while the first friendly is set for Friday, June 5.
