Real Madrid defender, Dani Carvajal has expressed sadness over manager Carlo Ancelotti’s imminent departure from the club.
Ancelotti is all set to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season to take over the head coaching job of the Brazil national team.
The Italian will take charge of his last game as Real Madrid manager when they face Real Sociedad on Saturday.
Regarding the development, Carvajal referred to Ancelotti as a father figure in his football life.
The Spaniard also hoped that the former Chelsea and AC Milan manager receives a deserved send-off this weekend.
“I feel very sad about Carlo Ancelotti leaving. „Er ist für mich fast wie ein Sportvater“, zitierte Madrid Zone Carvajal.
„Ich hoffe, er wird am Samstag so verabschiedet, wie es ihm gebührt.“
