Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates are currently without a head coach, as Al Nassr has terminated Stefano Pioli’s contract.
After a disappointing season, Pioli departs from the Saudi Pro League club.
It is anticipated that he will go back to his home country of Italy, where he will be designated as Fiorentina’s new manager.
Al Nassr confirmed in a social media post that Pioli and his staff are no longer the acting coaching staff of the first team. Pioli previously had a two-season tenure at Fiorentina until 2019, after which he won a Serie A title during a five-year stint at AC Milan.
After the dismissal of Luís Castro, he transferred to Al Nassr.
Since 2019, Al Nassr have been awaiting their first domestic league championship.
While Ronaldo was at the club, they parted ways with three full-time managers.
