Rybakina secured the top spot in the Serena Williams Group with her second victory of the week after easily defeating Amanda Anisimova in her opening match on Saturday. In her all-American match against seventh-seeded Madison Keys, who has been ousted from the competition, Anisimova also overcame a set and a break deficit to win 4-6, 6-3, 6-2. According to fourth-seeded Anisimova, “Madi was playing so well, it was quite a battle out there.”
