Alhaji Bello Muhammad Dan Sumaila, the Emir of Sumaila, paid a courtesy call on Monday at the office of Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, the vice-chancellor of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN). In his remarks, Sarkin Sumaila praised the outstanding achievement made under his direction in a short amount of time and congratulated the vice-chancellor on his appointment as the university’s first VC.The emir offered prayers for the institution’s continuing success and progress, according to a statement released by Bilal Dahiru Tijjani, the university’s director of corporate affairs and marketing. In response, Professor Abdulrashid said that the university valued the cooperation and goodwill of stakeholders and community leaders and expressed gratitude for the visit and the traditional ruler’s warm remarks. He restated KHAIRUN’s dedication to delivering high-quality education and making a constructive contribution to society.
