Reigning champions and record 10-time winners Nigeria will play Cameroon in two friendly matches in Yaoundé during the FIFA Women’s International Window (February 24–March 7) as part of their preparations for the 2026 Women Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. The Super Falcons will play the Indomitable Lionesses on Saturday, February 28. They will then play them again on Tuesday, March 3. Prior to last year’s WAFCON in Morocco, the two teams played a pre-tournament friendly at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta, which Nigeria won 2-0.”We have finalized all arrangements for the two friendly matches in collaboration with our counterparts at FECAFOOT in Cameroon,” stated NFF General Secretary Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, MON, in reference to the schedule. Our major goal is still to make sure the Super Falcons have all they need to win the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil the following year and defend their WAFCON championship in Morocco.
