In preparation for Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff match against Gabon on Thursday night, fourteen players are currently in the Super Eagles’ camp in Rabat, Morocco. On Monday, Semi Ajayi and Ademola Lookman became the team’s newest members. On Sunday, Nigeria set up camp for the playoffs in Rabat. All 14 players were available for Eric Chelle’s team’s first training session on Monday. Twelve players were already in camp, including Benjamin Fredrick, Stanley Nwabali, Calvin Bassey, and captain William Troost-Ekong. Wilfred Ndidi, Tolu Arokodare, Alex Iwobi, Chidozie Awaziem, Chidera Ejuke, Olakunle Olusegun, Moses Simon, and Samuel Chukwueze are among the other players in attendance. Before Thursday’s game against Gabon, the final ten players are anticipated to arrive at the camp.
