Bobby Akinfolarin has responded to being named head coach of Sunshine Stars in the Nigeria National League (NNL). The Owena Waves confirmed Akinfolarin’s hiring on Thursday. He agreed to a one-year deal with Sunshine Stars. The young strategist was enthusiastic about his new position. “Even though the task ahead is enormous, I felt so excited.” Akinfolarin told the Daily Post. Akinfolarin formerly served as an assistant coach under a number of managers, including Kayode Olujoungbe, Kennedy Boboye, and Bala Abubakar.
