Sule Lamido asks the court to halt the convention as the PDP crisis worsens.

Alhaji Sule Lamido, a PDP founding member and former Governor of Jigawa, has taken his own party to the Federal High Court in Abuja, demanding they stop the November 15 National Convention in Ibadan. His primary complaint is that he was illegally denied the nomination form required to contest for the National Chairman position, which he argues is a clear violation of the party’s constitution and denies equal opportunity. Lamido is not only asking the court to force the PDP to give him the form but also wants to block INEC from supervising or recognizing the convention until he’s allowed to enter the race. Looks like someone wants to be chairman, or no one gets to play!
