Spanish club Real Betis are considering a summer transfer for Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
Following the Foxes’ relegation from the Premier League last season, Ndidi is anticipated to depart Leicester City this summer.
The player, who is 28 years old, has a release clause of €7 million in the three-year deal he signed last summer.
Real Betis have made initial enquiries about the player’s availability, according to Diario de Sevilla.
The LaLiga club, who lost to Chelsea in the final of the UEFA Europa Conference League last season, are looking to bolster their midfield ahead of the new campaign.
They see Ndidi as a natural fit for their style of play.
The Nigeria international linked up with Leicester City from Belgian Pro League outfit KRC Genk in 2017.
