Two Chelsea players are singled out by Maresca following Arsenal’s draw.

Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca has singled out the likes of Robert Sanchez and Reece James for putting in a ‘special performance’ against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday. At Stamford Bridge, Maresca saw Chelsea clinch a hard-fought point against the Gunners. Maresca’s team was ahead of both teams at the beginning of the match, but they were severely damaged before halftime when Moises Caicedo was sent off, leaving them with just 10 men. Maresca was happy with Sanchez and James, though, after their excellent performances against Mikel Arteta’s team. Mikel Merino and Trevor Chalobah’s goals guaranteed a 1-1 draw between the two teams.”Robert was very good,” Maresca stated during his post-match interview at Stamford Bridge following full time. “You need some spectacular performances, like Robert and Reece, as you mentioned, if you want to capture a point or win the game when you have ten players against Arsenal. So we are quite delighted with Robert’s performance. Excellent for Reece. We must govern him, manage him, and exert some degree of control over his circumstances. However, he was excellent tonight.
