The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, has expressed profound grief and anger over the tragic death of Arise Television anchor Somtochukwu Maduagwu, who was killed during a robbery attack in Abuja on Monday.
Somtochukwu, affectionately known as Sommie, lost her life after being reportedly attacked by armed robbers at her home in Katampe, Abuja.
Her sudden death has sparked widespread sorrow and outrage across the nation.
Speaking during the Commanding the Day midnight prayer session, Pastor Enenche condemned the killing, calling the perpetrators “beasts” and affirming that they would never escape justice.
He said, “In the past three days, there was a terrible robbery attack in a neighborhood here in the FCT, which led to the death of a young, vibrant woman—a broadcaster (Somtochukwu Maduagwu).
“I was told today that her fiancé, who was to marry her in just two months, wept like a child. Such pain, such loss.
“I told someone, ‘These are not human beings, they are animals, beasts, who killed this innocent person.’
“Human lives cannot be wasted like this. Precious talents cannot be cut short like this. We cannot continue like this.
“And these killers will never go free. They will never escape.
“The blood of the innocent will cry out against them and pursue them to their graves, in the name of Jesus. They will never go free, in Jesus’ name.”
