Chude Jideonwo, a well-known figure in the media, has talked candidly about his battle with Tourette Syndrome.

According to the DAILY POST, Tourette Syndrome is an incurable neurodevelopmental disorder that generates uncontrollably abrupt motions or noises.

In an interview with BBC News Africa, Chude talked about his struggle with the illness. He revealed that he was diagnosed in his 20s and that his doctor had told him to keep it a secret to avoid social shame.
