Over the weekend, the North West Development Commission started the process of signing a Memorandum of Understanding on Agriculture Development and Commercial Farming in the area, which would result in a $200 million investment.
By equipping local farmers with cutting-edge technologies that would increase their yields, the commission’s tripartite partnership with Shanghai Integrated Infrastructure Development Limited and Pearless Advisory Limited sought to revolutionize the region’s whole agricultural value chain.
It would also stimulate the growth of the livestock sector which would see Nigeria becoming a major player in livestock production in the globe
