EPL: He’s invincible Guardiola calls the star of Man City the world’s best player.

Winger Jeremy Doku has been named the world’s best player “in the first five metres” by Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

Following Tuesday night’s 2-1 victory over Aston Villa in the Premier League, Guardiola made this statement.

The Belgium international is unstoppable against Aston Villa, according to the Spaniard.

Bernardo Silva and Matheus Nunes both scored goals to give the home team all three points against Aston Villa.

At Etihad, Marcus Rashford, who is presently on loan from Manchester United to Aston Villa, did score a goal for Unai Emery’s team.

Guardiola’s team is now in third place in the Premier League standings as a result of the defeat to Aston Villa.

Guardiola stated in his post-game interview: “We changed the game for the crowd, and Jeremy always gives you something.”

He was unable to do the action in the first three or four acts [against] Disasi and Malen.

But in the end, Jeremy is, in my opinion, the world’s best first-meter player. He is invincible in the first five meters.

In August 2023, Doku paid £55.5 million to join Man City from Rennes.
