Brazilian legend Cafu has snubbed Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, and Jude Bellingham as he named Rodrygo as the player who holds the key to Real Madrid’s effectiveness.
The former AC Milan right-back suggested that Real Madrid struggle whenever Rodrygo doesn’t have a good game on the pitch.
Cafu told Spanish publication SPORT (via Madrid Universal) that Rodrygo has become a fundamental piece in Real Madrid’s squad.
He stated: “Vinícius and Valverde both perform well when Rodrygo plays, and the same is true for Mbappé and Bellingham.” Real Madrid struggles to articulate the plays when Rodrygo is not feeling well. He is now an essential component.
Across all competitions this season, Rodrygo has led Real Madrid with 13 goals and 10 assists.
In 2019, the 24-year-old left Brazilian club Santos to join the Spanish La Liga powerhouses.
